"Interior image from Mr. Peabody's Apples by Madonna. This was an opening spread in the book. My idea was to set the tone for the book... kids playing baseball. This image contains no characters from the story and says nothing about the plot. It was intended to simply deliver a mood like an opening scene in a movie. People often ask what it was like to work on a project with Madonna. Although she was very involved in the project, I had total creative freedom to pursue my vision of the story. I enjoyed it from start to finish."
