Staff: For editorial assignments, I normally work closely with one or two freelance assistants on the set. For advertising projects, I am also supported in production aspects by LUZ, my agency in Milan.

Education: After dropping out of university in 2008, I moved to California, where I worked as a photo assistant and graduated from Brooks Institute with a BA in advertising photography.

Cultural Influences: The son of an artisan, I was born in a small industrial town of northern Italy. I’m attracted to scenes of manual work and craftsmanship, a world I’ve experienced since childhood. My greatest source of inspiration is people, their work, their places and their stories.

Environment: I spend most of my time shooting on location, but my planning and post-production are performed in my home studio or from some table at LUZ.
