Mountain Top was created for 'Yugen,' a two-man gallery show with Jeffrey Alan Love at Ghostprint Gallery in Richmond, Virginia. Exploring the theme of winter, I created a body of work that felt very personal to me. Winter is quiet, still, contemplative and sad. Things die, slow down, hibernate. These ideas and moods, which I'd held close for a long time, were finally put to paper. 21 x 21, ink, graphite, gouache on paper.
