Toronto-based creative Andrew Vucko created this two-minute animated video, “Original,” to fully immerse himself in a personal project, but he struggled to find a unique idea. From the problem came the solution, and Vucko decided to tackle the theme of originality. Through research, he came across interesting quotes on the subject. At first each quote felt like a separate idea, but then Vucko realized that they could be combined into a single narrative. The design had been kept minimal so it didn’t sway into a specific style, but eventually it found its own originality. So far, Vucko says the response has been overwhelming and supportive.
