Student assignment at Art Center College of Design. This poster series was part of a larger transmedia design for the annual Shakespeare Summer Festival at The Old Globe Theatre in San Diego. In order to create a visual language that captured the drama and raw passion of Shakespearean drama, I turned to less conventional typographic explorations. I developed a handpainted system of typography for the Festival itself, the play titles and the graphic language for the system and its collateral.
