Personal work. “Image shot in the Czech mountains when winter was ending and some part of my life was ending too. I felt very powerless and needed resistance. I placed the model on a stump, created this massive skirt over her and gave her two sticks. She crossed them in front of her, and there it was. I felt the strength of the image right away.”
