"We have conceptualized and developed the design for the Hong Kong Pavilion in Urban Best Practices Area at the Shanghai World Expo in 2010, dedicated to world cities showcasing their sustainability efforts and aspirations. This significant project posed interesting challenges for us that were answered with strategic thinking and a creative, innovative vision. We won the tender issued by the Commerce and Economic Development Bureau (CEDB) of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region in December 2007 and were later commissioned to help the CEDB formulate Hong Kong's expression of interest to participate in Urban Best Practices Area at Shanghai World Expo 2010. Our mission was to develop an overall thematic, key message and experience that would communicate best the spirit of Hong Kong. UBPA is dedicated to world cities' sustainability efforts and aspirations."
