The Washington Ballet's premiere of Alice (in Wonderland) was a new chapter for the organization. With new costumes, choreography and musical scores, the ballet was touted to be a most curious performance. To properly celebrate the event, we designed and art directed a photo editorial for Washington Life magazine—and later painted the DC landscape red with street posters and transit dioramas.
