“The Both is a new band formed by singer-songwriters Aimee Mann and Ted Leo. Aimee and Ted came to us with the idea to use dolls, which we loved. We knew we wanted to contrast the vinyl packaging with organic typography created by hand. The track listing and cover typography was cut from paper, strung up on the Tolkien-inspired model forest and photographed. The label art was built from twigs.”
